These are the highest-paid city of Charlotte employees

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CBJ has compiled a database allowing you to check out the salaries for more than 7,400 city of Charlotte employees, 327 of whom make six-figure salaries.

The data is current as of March. The database shows base salaries but not bonuses. The names of undercover police officers are redacted per city policy, but the rest of their information is shown. From city attorneys to police officers, the average salary is nearly $61,000.

Topping the list is Marcus Jones, city manager, with a $318,000 salary.
