CHARLOTTE — Morning and evening commutes might be frustrating at times, but research shows it’s not as bad as before the pandemic.

Traffic volume samples, dating back to early 2018, from some of Charlotte DOT’s busiest intersections, show at most of them there’s less traffic now than before the pandemic.
