CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A teenager crashed Thursday night after firing shots and leading deputies on a chase northbound on I-77, deputies said.
A person called York County deputies saying they were being shot at in a possible road rage incident near Exit 77 in South Carolina around 11:30 p.m.
Deputies said they attempted to stop Calvin Djuan Scott, 17, who continued to lead them on a pursuit.

Scott crashed on the exit ramp to Woodlawn Road in Charlotte, and was taken to the hospital, according to deputies.
Deputies said Scott was driving in a stolen car. A handgun and drugs were found in the car.
Scott is also suspected of aggravated child molestation in Georgia, deputies said.
York County deputies are in the process of obtaining arrest warrants for Scott.
