2nd suspect arrested in connection with Chester murder, officers say

CHESTER, S.C. — A second suspect was arrested in connection with a murder that happened May 15 near York Street Apartments on York Street in Chester, officials said.

Kevin Feaster was taken into custody on Thursday, officers said.

The first suspect, Vangereil Miller, turned himself in to Chester authorities Wednesday, police said.

Christopher Mayfield, 42, died at the scene and two men were wanted for the homicide.
