All of Truist Financial Corp.’s local branches and offices have transitioned to the new branding, a bank spokesperson confirmed this week.

Changes wrapped up this past weekend, the spokesperson said. Locally, Truist had already unveiled new signage in prominent locations — its corporate headquarters tower and, as of mid-2020, the baseball stadium in uptown. It also rebranded some business lines, such as insurance and securities. Many smaller offices kept the heritage BB&T and SunTrust branding. Some branches donned both names, part of a dual-branding effort to lessen customer confusion.
BB&T of Winston-Salem and Atlanta-based SunTrust merged in late 2019, creating a top-10 national bank that now has $541 billion in assets.
