CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Students could be excluded from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools activities starting Thursday if they don't have their vaccines or a waiver.

The Mecklenburg County Health Department is holding clinics Thursday at all three of its locations to help kids get up to date on their vaccinations.
In most cases, the vaccines are free.
The state of North Carolina tracks how many kindergartners aren't vaccinated by the 30th day of school each year.
