CHARLOTTE — Students in Grier Heights are learning critical skills to enter the workforce as part of the Hornets Legacy Project.

“The big thing about this is we know when we’re done, we’re also going into a career,” said participant Alma Porter.

The program is run by the nonprofit Potions & Pixels and its partner EIG Electrical Systems.
