OAKLAND, CA — A 9-year-old California girl wanted a new pair of Stephen Curry’s shoes, but she was disappointed they weren’t for sale under the girls' section on the Under Armour website.
So, she let the NBA All-Star from Charlotte know about it.

Riley Morrison wrote Stephen Curry a letter saying she’s a big fan, but couldn’t find a pair of Curry 5s online.
“I hope you can work with Under Armour to change this because girls want to rock Curry 5’s too,” she wrote.
Curry, the Golden State Warriors point guard, responded with a handwritten letter to Riley, apologizing and saying, “I appreciate your concerned and have spent the last 2 days talking to Under Armour about how we can fix the issue.”
The Curry 5 shoes are now available in the girls’ section.
Plus, Curry said he is sending Riley a pair of the Curry 5s and the not-yet-released Curry 6s, along with tickets to a game on March 8 to celebrate International Women’s Day.
