CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Steele Creek ballpark is getting a massive renovation thanks to the Charlotte Knights baseball club.
All the work is part of the “Fields for our Future” program that the young team, Steele Creek Athletic Association, applied for and won.
“Even if we did fundraising for years, there’s nothing, we couldn’t come up with the money to do what they’re doing for us,” said mother and coach Lisa Hanson.
