STATESVILLE, N.C. — A Statesville woman won the top prize of $200,000 after taking a chance on a $5 instant game, Power 5s.
JoAnn Mosher said she purchased a ticket at Cashion's Quick Stop on North Old Statesville Road in Huntersville.
Mosher claimed her prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh and took home $141,501 after required state and federal taxes.
The Power 5s game started in August with five top prizes of $200,000, and two top prizes remain to be won.
