State files lawsuit against mobile home park after residents constantly lose water

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Residents of a mobile home park in Gaston County said they don’t have constant running water to take baths, wash clothes or cook.

The water was out for an entire week, at one point.

The Department of Environmental Equality filed a lawsuit against the owner of the Donna Lynn Mobile Home Community.

“People can’t live like that,” said Patricia Thompson resident and mother of three children.
