STANLY COUNTY, N.C. — New state data shows that Stanly County ranks No. 1 in the state for opioid overdoses.
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services recently released overdose statistics for June.
Stanly County has the state's highest rate for opioid overdoses from emergency room visits followed by Lee, Haywood and Surry counties.
