CHARLOTTE — Discount carrier Spirit Airlines Inc. continues to expand its flight network at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
The Florida-based airline said Tuesday in a news release that it will begin flying to Boston Logan International Airport from Charlotte this summer. That once-daily nonstop flight launches on June 7. It is one of five new routes Spirit is adding at the Boston airport.
The two-and-a-half-hour flight between Charlotte and Boston will operate on a year-round basis, on an Airbus A320.
