CHARLOTTE — Spirit Airlines is again adding on to its flight offerings at Charlotte Douglas International Airport this year.
The ultra-low-cost carrier, based in Miramar, Florida, is set to start flying to Chicago O’Hare International Airport on Sept. 6 with once-daily service, a Spirit spokesman confirmed to CBJ. It will be a year-round flight, he said.
Spirit’s website shows the standard price for a round-trip ticket between Charlotte and Chicago on Sept. 7 is about $338. Checked luggage, carry-on bags and other upgrades like seat selection cost extra.
