SouthPark restaurant makes safety changes after worker tested positive for COVID-19 (WSOC)

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — As the Carolinas try and figure out reopening, some restaurants that just reopened have had to make the tough decision to temporarily shut down after employees tested positive

The most recent popular spots forced to close, briefly and as a precaution, were Sagioni in Myers Park, Resident Culture in Plaza Midwood and the Waterman in South End.

Earlier this week, Reids’ in SouthPark closed for a couple of days after a worker tested positive.

“We shut it down, got everybody tested and we started back up yesterday on Thursday,” Reid’s owner Tom Coker said.
