CHARLOTTE — SouthPark Mall aims to create a better shopping experience with a multimillion-dollar revamp.
Plans call for extensive upgrades to the shopping center’s West Plaza, located adjacent to The Container Store and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Suffolk Punch Brewing will anchor the West Plaza with a 6,500-square-foot restaurant and 4,500 square feet of outdoor space. Expect a full-service taphouse, restaurant and coffee bar well as an all-seasons outdoor pavilion with two freestanding bars.
“We love to add that local flair when we can,” says Holly Van Cleave, marketing and business development director at SouthPark mall. “Their operation paired well with SouthPark and our shoppers. It just seemed like the perfect co-existence.”
