CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man is facing sexual battery charges after being accused of sexually assaulting a woman inside Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
Police arrested Sam Nedawi on Sunday.
A source told Channel 9 that Nedawi is an airport employee and the accuser is a female passenger.
The woman told police that Nedawi touched her inappropriately inside the airport last Wednesday afternoon.
Channel 9 is asking airport officials about Nedawi's position and if they plan to take any action of their own, and will have more on this story on Eyewitness News at noon.
