CHARLOTTE — Coca-Cola Consolidated Inc. has signed on as Charlotte FC’s official soft-drink sponsor, the Major League Soccer club confirmed this week.

Financial terms of the multi-year partnership weren’t disclosed. In addition to Coke becoming the team’s soft drink, sister brand Dasani will be the only water sold inside the stadium.

Coke Consolidated will be the in-stadium sponsor highlighting goals scored by the home team and will offer fans product samples at select games. The deal includes community outreach as well as Charlotte FC-related promotions with retailers, including Harris Teeter.
