CHARLOTTE — More customers have contacted Action 9 after their Apple Watch irritated their skin. It’s an issue Channel 9 first covered last fall.
“I noticed I had some blisters that were forming on my wrist,” Taylor Williams said.

“I started looking at my wrist and it was like the pigmentation of my skin had started to change,” Karla Villanueva said.
“Next thing I know, (my daughter) told me her arm had broke out,” Stephanie Bell said.
These three customers told Action 9′s Jason Stoogenke they spent hundreds to buy the watches.
Apple acknowledges this can happen.
The company’s return policy says if you buy from Apple or an Apple store, you have 14 days to return the watch.
Stoogenke did not find any exceptions for products that are defective or cause problems.
However, other stores set their own rules, so Stoogenke suggests that if you purchased a watch from somewhere other than Apple, check with that store.
The three customers in this report had either passed the 14-day period or bought their watches from a store other than Apple. They still thought Apple would refund their money, which they say did not happen.
“I feel neglected by Apple, being such a big corporation,” Villanueva said.
“I expected at least a refund or some type of compensation, but literally they said they couldn’t do nothing,” Williams said.
Stoogenke reached out to Apple by phone and email four times since April 25. The company did not respond in time for this report.
