MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — A small plane was forced to make an emergency landing Wednesday on Highway 17 near Myrtle Beach, according to Channel 9 affiliate WPDE.

The only person in the plane was the pilot and no one was injured, police said.
The plane is a Cessna 182 out of North Carolina.
The FAA is investigating the incident.
