CHARLOTTE — One of Charlotte’s more eclectic shopping destinations is gearing up for its big move. The Sleepy Poet Antique Mall announced on social media yesterday that Oct. 30 will be its last day at its current location on South Boulevard.

The business will soon reopen just a couple of miles away, at 6424 South Blvd. The relocation is significant because owner Dickson Shreffler purchased the property, after leasing its space at 4450 South Blvd. for the past 13 years.
He told CBJ earlier this year that the rapid growth of South End and hot local real estate market factored into the decision.
