CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has launched an investigation involving the Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities told Channel 9's South Carolina bureau reporter Greg Suskin that the sheriff requested the investigation, which involves a former deputy who left the department last week.
