Six Flags will add seat belts to several roller coasters following a fatal fall at a Georgia park.
Goliath at Six Flags over Georgia, as well as two rides at Carowinds, remain closed after 42-year-old Hassan Kariem fell from Goliath on Oct. 12.
Seat belts will also be added to coasters in Illinois and New Jersey.
Carowinds’ Fury 325 and Thunder Striker already have seat belts.
Six Flags says the affected rides won’t reopen until required safety work and reviews are complete.
The investigation is ongoing.
