BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — There are growing concerns about a sinkhole in Burke County that continues to expand in size near Icard.
It has been three months since the sinkhole first opened along Old N.C. 10 in eastern Burke County. Workers at the property said it was caused by a rusted-out culvert and is now encroaching on the roadway.
