HICKORY, N.C. — A Silver Alert for a man who was traveling with three children was canceled after they were found safe, according to authorities.
The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued the alert Monday asking the public to be on the lookout for Jay Richard Zeidel, who they said is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Officials said Zeidel is traveling with his 11- and 7-year-old daughters and 9-year-old son.
