Shots fired outside Gastonia mall, sources say

Sources told Channel 9 that shots were fired outside Eastridge Mall in Gastonia Monday afternoon.

When police responded to the scene more shots were fired, sources said.

A victim of a car theft found his car and the suspect in the mall. The suspect ran out and fired shots, Gastonia police said.

Customers rushed to the exits at the mall.
