CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Several shots were fired inside the Bojangles’ Famous Chicken 'n Biscuits at 6120 East Independence Boulevard Monday night during an attempted robbery, according to police.
Witnesses said nobody was injured during the shooting but that there were customers inside the southeast Charlotte restaurant at the time of the robbery.
Witnesses also told Channel 9 that the gunman fled in a getaway car.
No further information has been released.
