LINCOLNTON, N.C. — A man from Lincolnton helped design a garment that was seen by millions before Sunday’s Super Bowl.

Harbison Studio designed a custom jumpsuit for Emmy Award-winning actress and singer Sheryl Lee Ralph, who performed the hymn “Lift Every Voice and Sing” before kickoff.

Charles Harbison was born in Lincolnton and is the founder of Harbison Studio.

The look worn by Sheryl Lee featured gold buttons, off-the-shoulder puff sleeves, and a built-in train with black lining.

Harbison and his team have worked with celebrities such as Beyoncé, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ava Duvernay, and others.
