CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — An argument led to a man’s shooting death Monday afternoon in Claremont, deputies said.
Catawba County Sheriff Coy Reid told Channel 9 that Eric Goode and Daniel Campbell got into an argument and Campbell shot and killed Goode in a home on Hamlett Drive.
Reid said deputies found Campbell around 3 a.m. Tuesday at the Catawba Pines Apartments and arrested him.
No other details about the crime have been released.
