SHELBY, N.C. — A tractor-trailer driver from Shelby was killed in a crash near the Tennessee border.
Ricky McCurry crashed into a truck that had stopped for another wreck on Interstate 40 on Monday.
Channel 9’s partners at the Shelby Star reported the passenger of the stopped truck was also killed in the crash.
