Several people hurt following crash in Rowan County, troopers say

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Several people have been injured following a crash on Miller Chapel Road near Shue Road in Rowan County, according to North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

Just after 1 p.m. Saturday, troopers said a 2012 Honda passenger car pulled out in front of an unknown vehicle causing a collision.

The driver of the Honda was airlifted from the scene to Atrium Health Northeast Concord. Four passengers in the same vehicle were by ground EMS to the same hospital, according to troopers.

One person from the other vehicle was also taken to an area hospital with injuries.
