Several NC companies rank among ‘Best Companies to Work For’

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One of Charlotte’s largest employers is among the “100 Best Companies to Work For” in the U.S., according to Fortune magazine. Bank of America Corp., at No. 22 on the publication’s 2021 ranking, is the top-rated company in the Carolinas.

BofA lands at No. 5 on Fortune’s breakout list of the best big companies to work for, which notes some challenges are unique to large organizations.

Coming in not far behind BofA on the overall ranking is Red Hat, a Raleigh software firm. Two other companies in North Carolina landed lower on the list.
