CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are searching for the person accused of injuring two people after shooting into several cars and apartments in north Charlotte Saturday night.
The gunshots ran gout around 11:45 p.m. in the parking lot of an apartment complex off Griers Grove Road.
Officers said two victims, a man and a woman, were shot in the parking lot. MEDIC took both victims to the hospital, and they are expected to be OK.
CMPD said four empty vehicles were hit by bullets and two apartments were shot into during the incident. They said one apartment had two people inside, while three people were in the other.
There were no injuries in the apartments.
Authorities said they believe the gunman may have been in a car and left the scene after the shooting.
Police have not said what led to the shooting or if the suspect was targeting someone.
No arrests have been made.
