CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte-Mecklenbrug Police Department identified the victim of a fatal crash that shut down an intersection in northwest Charlotte Monday.
First responders were at the crash on Brookshire Boulevard at Pleasant Grove Road on Monday at about 6:20 a.m.
Police said Curtis Lee Mundy was ejected from his vehicle after Donald Lee Davis III failed to stop for a red light and crashed into the side of Curtis Lee Mundy’s car.
Police issued arrest warrants for Involuntary Manslaughter and Reckless Driving on Donald Lee Davis for his involvement in this crash.
Officials said they do not believe Davis was impaired during the incident.

The intersection of Brookshire Boulevard and Pleasant Grove Road was closed while officers investigated.
