CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Testimony is expected to begin Monday in the trial of three alleged members of the Bloods gang in Charlotte.

Nine women and three men will hear the case against them.
They're accused in three slayings, including the killing of a Lake Wylie couple who was going to testify against other gang members.

The judge has ordered tight security and is not identifying the jurors by name.
“I think this level of security is unusual on any level, but you're dealing with a case where witness intimidation, to say the least, has already been extreme,” legal analyst Tony Scheer said.
Testimony is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Monday.
