UNION COUNTY, N.C. — A crash was captured on a home security camera Monday just days after a Channel 9 report about safety concerns at the intersection.
[Delay in fixing Union County intersection frustrates residents]
The wreck happened just after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Lawyers and New Salem roads in northeastern Union County.
Channel 9 reported that the Department of Transportation has plans to make this intersection safer, but they’re now on hold because of funding.
