GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Police have arrested a second suspect in a deadly shooting that happened earlier in April in Gaston County.
According to police, 36-year-old Michael Lee Moore was found shot around 12:45 a.m. on April 14 on W. H. Kiser Road near Long Shoals. He was taken to CaroMont Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries.

The Gaston County Police Department said it charged 36-year-old Marvin Christopher Neal with first-degree murder in connection with Moore’s death. Neal is currently being held at the Gaston County Jail.
A second suspect, 26-year-old Donald Christopher Wheeling, was arrested Friday after taking off from police on a stolen motorcycle. He as been charged with first-degree murder, felony fleeing to elude arrest, and possession of stolen property.
