Mooresville school provides learning options after class quarantined due to COVID-19

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Students in a class at Rocky River Elementary School in Mooresville are in quarantine after someone tested positive for COVID-19, officials said.

The positive result happened the day after the start of the new school year.

Parent Mark Murphy’s son is learning remotely.

“Now the day after he goes back to school, he’s quarantining for 14 days,” Murphy said.
