CHARLOTTE — School districts are starting to adjust their schedules and prepare for Friday’s winter storm.
Channel 9 Meteorologist Keith Monday is tracking a wintry mix expected to arrive Friday afternoon.
We’re also monitoring impacts at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. You can check the status of your flight, or visit your airline’s website, on FlightAware.
The storm system is expected to clear very quickly Saturday morning, but the damage will be done. Travel conditions will be poor through at least the first half of Saturday.
Sunshine and temperatures above freezing will help by Saturday afternoon.
Severe Weather Center 9 will have the latest throughout the day on Eyewitness News.
