SCarowinds will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 16 - Oct. 30.
SCarowinds is a separately gated event. General Carowinds tickets are not valid and a SCarowinds ticket is required.
Tickets start at $45. (Tip: Buying a ticket in advance online will save you a few dollars off the price at the front gate.)
There is no age requirement to enter SCarowinds, but due to the nature of the event, it is recommended for ages 13 and older.
Guests 17 years old or younger must have a chaperone who is at least 21 years old in order for them to be admitted to the park during SCarowinds event hours. A chaperone can’t have any more than four guests each day who are 17 or younger. They are required to be with their guests when they enter the park and must stay in the park during their visit.

Bags, purses, backpacks or diaper bags are not allowed into the park during SCarowinds.
Costume masks, face paint or costume attire are not allowed into SCarowinds. Face masks worn to help reduce the spread of germs are allowed.
Cameras or photography are not allowed inside the haunted mazes or scare zones. If you break this rule, you’ll be asked to leave the park.
If you prefer that the monsters keep their distance, “No Boo!” necklaces are available for purchase. Wearing this necklace significantly reduces the likelihood of being scared by monsters in scare zones, but it cannot be used in mazes.
