SC restaurant task force wants to make sure places are reopening safely

COLUMBIA, S.C. — In a little over 24 hours, restaurants in South Carolina can reopen and outside seating will be available.

The South Carolina restaurant task force said it will have to see how well restaurants follow guidelines put in place by Gov. Henry McMaster, such as keeping tables 8 feet apart.

A member of the Accelerate SC task force said if things go smoothly with outdoor seating next week, indoor seating may be available a week later.
