FORT MILL, S.C. — State leaders in South Carolina issued a scam alert Tuesday for a Charlotte-based charity.
The secretary of state said he’s received several complaints in the past two weeks that the Miracle House of Hope Ministries has been asking people for money in Fort Mill. The state is urging people not to give any money to Miracle House of Hope.
Officials said the “illicit” organization has been barred from soliciting in South Carolina since March 2019.
