Rock Hill inmate attacks guards, officials say

ROCK HILL, SC — A Rock Hill man now faces more jail time after attacking two guards, officials said.

 Jail officials said Jermichael La'nard Reid refused to go back into his cell Saturday and punched two guards.

 The guards were able to get Reid under control and back into his cell. The guards were not injured in the scuffle.

 Reid was in jail on charges accusing him of attacking his pregnant girlfriend last month.
