SOUTH CAROLINA — Next week, South Carolina leaders plan to launch a new campaign to make sure tourists come to visit after the pandemic.
The first phase will run in May and is designed to keep South Carolina on people’s minds as they plan their eventual summer vacations.
Phase two, in June, runs when it is safer to travel and is a harder push for visitors.

South Carolina is expected to lose billions in tourism money and tens of thousands of jobs because of the pandemic.
