CHARLOTTE — An Atlanta-based chain of gourmet markets has plans for a 5,000-square-foot location at 1124 S. Mint St. in South End.
An LLC affiliated with Savi Provisions purchased that 0.24-acre parcel for $2.15 million in February 2022.

The neighborhood markets sell locally sourced gourmet and organic foods. Plans call for that space to offer prepared food, a custom deli counter, as well as juice and coffee bars, says Paul Nair, owner.
“We’d love to set up the whole space as a better version of Whole Foods, but in a much smaller footprint,” he says. “This concept fits in any market where there is need for healthy food.”
