CHARLOTTE — The Salvation Army of Charlotte has officially kicked off its annual holiday toy distribution.
The organization said it hopes to help more than 2,600 families, as well as provide gifts and food boxes to nearly 7,000 children.
This year’s giveaway will be a drive-thru event.
It will take place at the Salvation Army Christmas Center on Yorkmont Road.
