CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Help is on the way for customers who lost access to their money using the scandal-plagued RushCard.
The company announced it is reimbursing customers who use the prepaid cards.
RushCard was upgrading its system when it had problems with the transition.
At that time, customers couldn't access money in their account to pay bills and other necessities.
RushCard said it will compensate its customers who were hit with late fees, lost a deposit to an apartment or had other problems as a result of the glitch.
Customers can find updates on the company's website and Facebook page.
