ROCK HILL, S.C. — Rock Hill police have two people in custody after a 20-year-old man was shot and killed early Wednesday morning.
The man was shot just before 12:30 a.m. while sitting in a car in the 100 block of Cherry Laurel Lane, according to officials.
Police identified the man who was killed as Isaiah Shinn.
Detectives said they arrested two people and found the gun used in the homicide at an apartment complex near the shooting scene.
Officials charged Ernest Thompson, 24, with murder, possession of a firearm during a crime of violence, attempted murder and attempted murder.
Thompson was charged with attempted murder because there were two other people in the car with the victim at the time of the shooting, police said. They were not injured.
Officials also charged Lauren Rawlinson, 24, with accessory after the fact of murder.
