ROCK HILL, S.C. — Rock Hill police are conducting a death investigation after a man was found dead in the backyard of a residence.
Officials said Rock Hill police were notified of a deceased male in a backyard on Raven Drive around 8 a.m. Saturday. The scene was closed to York Road Elementary.
The body is believed to be that of Brett Sullivan. Positive identification is pending.
Officials said Sullivan was last seen just one block from where the body was found.
The Rock Hill Criminal Investigations Division, Forensic Services Unit, and the York County Coroner's Office were called to the scene to help with the investigation.
Police have not released information regarding how the man died.
