GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A man accused in a string of robberies was arrested Tuesday morning after leading police on a chase in Gaston County.
Police said the man was involved in two robberies within three hours early Tuesday morning.
When officers spotted him, he took off in a car and then on foot while police followed.
The chase eventually ended in the woods behind the Gastonia Fire Department and the man was arrested.

Police have not released the man’s name or any additional information.
